The AOI's Images 32 annual, which features three of my illustrations from the past year, just came through the post.
"Once again, the Association of Illustrators has invited a wide range of highly-regarded commissioners and well-known illustrators to select the best of British contemporary illustration. The result is Images 32, the UK's only jury-selected illustration annual. With an introduction by David Downton, the Critic's Award selected by Alice Rawsthorn and the New Talent section showcasing the best of today's students, Images 32 is the essential publication for leading industry professionals as well as acaademics, students and practitioners."

One of my illustrations will be featured in the London exhibition of AOI's "Images 32: The best of British contemporary illustration 2008". The show will open on the 29th and runs through to 27 August at the London College of Communication.
16 July
Tokyo Lab's tenth release, on which I worked as a designer and contributing artist, will be released on July 16, preceeded by an exhibition at Claska.

I was invited to give a brief presentation of my work to date at the 51st Tokyo Pecha-Kucha Night on April 24. The event
Takes place monthly at Superdeluxe, and in over 100 other cities around the world.

I am now one half of newly-formed VJ duo Cotton. The collaboration kicked off last friday (March 28) at the first episode of Pop Rox, an event hosted by friends Chiaki & Emi and Ben List. More

I will be working at Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo for the next three months as an intern. During my time there I will also be contributing to w+k tokyo lab's next DVD/book, Tokyo.Ten, which is due to be released later this year. Stay tuned!

I am working as a junior designer at Kokokumaru, headed by Yoshimaru Takahashi, in Osaka, Japan.
