Anatomy of Intimacy

The project is an exploration of the links between emotion and physical anatomy, and references ancient text and drawings by DaVinci and his contemporaries from a day when our internal workings were the source of much speculation. What is love actually made of? What is emotion in biological and scientific terms? The two final outcomes take the form of small sculptures (about 20 cm tall) that merge the grotesque with the beautiful in their embodiment of the metaphor.
