Tokyo Travelogue

Tokyo Travelogue is a journey through the ever-evolving, colorful cacophony of the city. My own impressions mix and collide with collected anecdotes, depicting a metropolis quite unlike any other place in the world, including even the rest of Japan. The binding and materials imitate the way Tokyo fuses traditional elements with modern life.

The imagery in Tokyo Travelogue explores the explosive and maximalist aspect of the culture, as opposed to the clean, zen minimalism that Japanese art is often associated with. Tokyo to me is totally cluttered, forever changing, building and re-building, collecting and reinventing itself.
